Hotep! Great photo! I wonder if this yard will experience winter snows in a few months?

Today is the Day of Presence for the people of New Orleans. The 2-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. I’ve dedicated my WW post to the recovery effort of that great American city. I hope you will take a moment to view my (not so) Wordless Wednesday post.

    peace, Villager

    Villager,
    I’m on my way;)

    Miles,
Thanks:):) My husband put the stones in the path. It took him forever. BTW the shed in the background is no longer there.

    Hm, the road to . . . ?

Tammi, thanks for stopping by and reading my mammoth blog post. I was afraid no one would take the time to read such a l-o-n-g post, and I’m pretty sure you’re the only who has.

And, yes, I’ve been writing as long as I can remember and have, actually, had more success (such as it is) as a writer than as an artist.

I still keep my hand in (long & short fiction, poetry, song lyrics, etc.), but writing NEVER gave me the kind of rush that digital art does! Currently, I’m playing around with the idea of a coffee-table type book of poetry and art, but don’t know if anything will actually come of that.

Glad you enjoyed “Circular REM”. I’d say it’s one of my favorites, but I find myself saying that way too often!

I love stone paths because they always lead to an interesting place.

  11. Write From Karen Says:

I wonder where this path goes?

    I smell a story. *grin*

  12. Tammi Says:

    WJ,
I LOVE the book idea. Don’t let that go;)
I’m going to look into digital art but I’m really old-fashioned. You know…Old dog…

    Rose,
    Yes I am, girl:)

    G,
I think that this path leads home:)

    Karen,
    Humm…Maybe a prompt?

  13. JHS Says:

    Beautiful, vibrant colors!

Thanks for stopping by Colloquium! Don’t be a stranger. :-)

    JHS,
    I’m such a lurker….

  15. Jeremy Says:

Paths are so intriguing in photographs. It’s what draws you in and asks the question, what’s at the end?

    Happy WW

  16. Rose-Dewy Knickers Says:

You are a lurker. But that’s ok.

See you tomorrow for my story.

    Rose
