My heart is skipping for the family that may live here…is this occupied? And the chairs, you know that’s hope right there. Where there are two chairs, two have gathered together as a team. And as a team and with God, just about anything can happen! Greatttt photo! Happy WW

Happy WW, I would be sitting out side on the plastic chairs too if it was sunnier lol

A little faith and a lot of work…

Wow. That picture is full of questions.

Nice shot! I see a house where 2 people who enjoy each other’s company live. Ok, it’s not a mansion but I’ve seen a lot worse. Where there’s love there’s hope.
Happy WW!

Man, kinda makes me thankful for all I have (and maybe a little guilty and wasteful, too). Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy WW!!

A very brief look into the varied and often wide places on the planet. This shot is delightful in so many ways, how the chairs are sitting waiting to be used, and how the ‘cottage’ in the background whilst simple in construction, is fine as a house for someone.
Great shot, I like it…

Home sweet home!
August 1, 2007 at 3:46 am
I’d love to know the story.
August 1, 2007 at 3:47 am
Ironically it looks like it’s going uphill…maybe symbolizes hope and things will get better if you keep with it or something. Def. 1,000 words for this pic! Very nice!

Looks like the moose equivalent of homebuilding. Hey looks like they have a great looking garden out front to.

Not really my taste for a dream home !
August 1, 2007 at 4:18 am
Are you going to tell us the story because the suspense is killing me?
August 1, 2007 at 6:03 am
Yea… what is the story….
There is beauty all around … When there is love at home!!

I’d love to hear the story behind the pic…seems like a hide-away to me…just for two people ….

That’s a shed that was in my backyard. I took this picture right after my husband took the corpse-blue colored corrugated steel off of the structure. It was really ugly before:)
My husband and I rented a dumpster and took the thing apart piece by piece. We’re still burning the scrap wood. And we sit in those two chairs while watching it burn some evenings.
This thing was massive. It had three rooms, furniture and we even collected a box-o-kittens for the local animal rescue shelter.
Now there’s a nice, flat piece of land and a garden in the area.
Lots of work taking this monster down but I get a thrill every time I look at the trees that were blocked by the structure.
I’m fascinated by the responses to this! I love that you are all such deep thinkers:)

It’s amazing to read how everyone’s mind worked. Looks like something my Dad would build

I saw a lot of those with people actually living in them when I was growing up in western PA. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

It looks like it’s cooler outside than in.
I had relatives that lived in shacks like this.
No joke. It was sad.

There must be a story behind this photo?

Not sure what to make of this image. It like there’s a story here.
August 1, 2007 at 2:53 pm
I thought maybe it was a little roughing it get-away!
August 1, 2007 at 2:57 pm
I love this story. Yes, life looks hard, but hard can be wonderful too.
August 1, 2007 at 3:03 pm
Great picture and what a great way to document your hard work! Wish I’d have been smart enough to do it when I was remodeling my house.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the fruits of your labor.
And thanks for stopping by my place.

Happy WW! Hope no one lives there.

It’s a great shot! I do hope that no one lives there. To me, it sort of looks like an old outbuilding.
Happy WW!
August 1, 2007 at 6:50 pm
My heart hurts at the fact that someone probably does live there. And, if not there- I’m sure somewhere else in our world, people live in places like that.
August 1, 2007 at 8:07 pm
Its a good shot…sad that thats someones home, though blessed that they have a home with a roof.
August 1, 2007 at 9:01 pm
Cool shot, love that you and hubby sit and watch it as it goes away piece by piece. Symbolic isn’t it?
Happy Wednesday!

I think everyone thought is was someone’s house because we are conditioned to believe the worst.

Rose,
I was a little surprised because I see a shed. A very, very unhealthy shed.
