PJD from Corner Kick nominated Drawing on Words for a Thinking Blogger Award. Thanks Pete for your thoughtfulness and encouragement.
Here’s the rules:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote.
This is my favorite meme aside from Fiction Friday, of course. I love to think and that’s why I love these blogs:
1.Mrs. Write Right, Word Therapist The blog’s designation is enough to fuel the mind for awhile. This thinking dynamo has lots of helpful information and inspiring ideas. She adds some personality to her blog, too. Lots of great links on this site, too like Grammar Police. Yummy stuff for writers.
2. Deviant Thoughts is a valuable site authored by a dedicated professional in the field of autism. Marie offers a plethora of information on all of her sites but this one is my favorite in the bunch.
3. Ink Thinker is another writing resource that is authored by a freelance writer. Ms. King is the queen of motivation, offering support and encouragement for her fellow writers.
4. Writing Thoughts is a great place to visit for anyone who loves writing. Laura is very professional in her approach and the information is very helpful and quite varied. She keeps a clean blog that is easily navigated and she offers a lot of information that is designed to accommodate the working mom.
5. Denise Jacleen’s Freelance Writing Blog is a place I like to visit to share (or at least read) experiences that other writers have in the field. Denise offers weekly questions and encourages other writers to share their thoughts and insights.

Thank you very much for nominating me. I guess this means I need to start updating again, huh?

Laura,
You’ve helped me more than you know. You’re the organized alter ego that keeps me grounded.
Denise,
Anything to get you going:) I love the questions and the interactive nature of your blog. Good stuff even if you don’t update there’s plenty of useful information in the archives.
